The Kildare College community came together last week to celebrate our annual Sports Day, held at the Bridgestone Athletics Centre in Salisbury. We were fortunate to enjoy a day of beautiful weather, creating the perfect conditions for a successful event.
The atmosphere was vibrant, with students and staff embracing the spirit of the day through enthusiastic participation and House pride. Each House demonstrated outstanding camaraderie and creativity, particularly through their chants and cheers. We extend our congratulations to Kildare House, who were awarded the Spirit Cup for their exceptional energy and team spirit.
In an exciting conclusion to the day, Nagle House emerged as the overall Sports Day Champions, bringing an end to Delany’s impressive four-year winning streak. It was a well-earned achievement, reflecting the dedication and teamwork displayed across all events.
Congratulations to our Year Level Champions:
Year 7 – Ava (joint Overall Champion of the Day)
Year 8 – Isabelle
Year 9 – Anna
Year 10 – Aizure and Shana
Year 11 – Lara
Year 12 – Lauren (joint Overall Champion of the Day)
We extend our sincere thanks to all students for their enthusiastic involvement, and to the staff who contributed their time and effort to ensure the day was a success. We look forward to building on this positive experience in the years to come.

Over 400 mothers, grandmothers, and significant female caregivers gathered with their daughters and grand daughters for our Mother’s Day Celebration.
Held in the Brigidine Centre Gym the event was a warm and joyful celebration of the women who nurture, guide, and inspire across generations.
The atmosphere buzzed with joy as families arrived, greeted by the smell of warm sausage rolls, fresh scones, sandwiches, and an array of sweet treats. Everyone enjoyed the food while laughter filled the room—thanks to a wonderful mix of activities. The opportunity to engage in games, participate in reflective activities or just soak up the atmosphere provided something for everyone.
The afternoon tea was a time to connect, celebrate and give thanks for the countless ways women shape our lives.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a beautiful reminder of the power of love, gratitude, and community.
